Question for the group i received Ibm card from chrysler they have build date nov 2 1966 which is on build sheet and fender tag but they listed ship date October 31 1966 how can you ship 3 days before you build it.

Mine blew the fuse after about 6 + hours of running the a/c outside temp 103 at the time and engine water temp 187

it seems to be working good i started looking in to this because of the manual said i should have the bypass valve and i was worried about the 2 rubber hose pieces going bad and when i looked i noticed i did not have that bypass valve that is why i was asking what it was for.

I have a regular heater valve that is attached to the lever for warm cool the bypass in the manual indicated its operated by the a/c door the a/c works great 34 deg at the vent

i do not have auto temp control

does anyone know what the bypass valve is used for in a cbody with a/c manual says i should have one and i actually have a dual core without the bypass valve. i asked this on drydock forum also

Greetings to all i finally found what temp I should be running 180-185 had to tsk to a radiator rebuilder to get answer. i am in process of getting parts I'm just going to to do every thing new rad,thermostat, fan clutch, the works
