Thank you for your contributions and pictures. I have managed to assemble everything i need minus a z bar to to convert my 68 Fury to a 4 speed. Has anyone used an a-body (short tailshaft) transmission and just got a longer driveshaft?

I checked the frame and it moves freely so I think I would like to stick with the 2 oval brackets for $30. Thank you.

I am not sure on the backspacing but the wheel wells will hold 295/50-15, no problem.
