Making a big car fast......the struggle is real.

I have the 699 pan. That is what's on the car currently. Thanks for the offer though!

Making a big car fast......the struggle is real.

The idler arm hit the back corner of the pan. I swapped it out for the stock 413 pan for now. I thought about modifying the Milodon pan to clear the idler arm. It wouldn't take much work to clearance it but I decided on using the stock pan for now because I'm either going to sell the car and...

Yes it is. I've just been too busy to update. Runs good so far but haven't even started to tune it yet. Had some medical issues come up so I haven't touched it in a couple weeks.

    Electronic conversion question

There is one on the car now but I don't believe I need it anymore. I have an aftermarket distributor with an hei style internal module and an aftermarket coil.

    Electronic conversion question

That is how mine is. Blue is run and brown is start. The problem is I need one that is hot during start and run. Just one or the other won't work.

    Electronic conversion question

My 65 New Yorker was converted to electronic ignition by the previous owner. The problem is he wired a toggle switch to the ignition to supply 12v when cranking. I would prefer to not have a toggle switch but I can't find a wire that has 12v at both cranking and run positions. Everything I find...

Yes. Both went in thru the top. I had to lift the engine slightly but they went in quickly and easily.

Slowly but surely this car is coming along. I ordered ceramic coated TTI headers and they are well worth the money. Anyone that wants to put headers on a C-body, call Mike @ TTI. The headers fit perfectly, no complaints at all. I still have a lot of work to do before the car hits the road but it...

Making a big car fast......the struggle is real.

Update: I gave up on the headers I had. I broke down and called TTI. Should have done it right the first time. Engine and trans is in the car but I have to make a transmission mount. I have a couple of mounts and neither one works. The mounting point on the new transmission is in a...

    65 Sport Fury

Not to awake an old thread, but looks nice! Thanks for the steering shaft info. I bought a Flaming River shaft but it was wrong. Now I know how to make it right. I was just worried about having 2 u-joints and the shaft binding because of it. Have you turned the wheels both ways? Does it...

Making a big car fast......the struggle is real.

Budget...lol. it keeps growing. The headers are for 68 and newer c-body. Not even close to fitting mine. Driver side fits no problem. Passenger side is a different story. I had to remove sections of 2 pipes. I have to reroute those 2 tunes but they will still be inside the torsion bar and the...
