Yes it runs on propane. I can convert it back to normal fuel but if you don’t want that if you drive this car her in the Netherlands... gas price is sky high, propane 1/3 of normal fuel;-).
I hate do do this but it is up for sale.
I’m in the situation that I need a more practical hobby car because the hobby car is not only for hobby anymore... And I don’t have the space here in Amsterdam to keep this imperial:-(
I hope it finds a nice home.
For Sale - ‘67 Imperial Crown coupe in...
Oke guys, I hate to sell this beauty but it seems that I need a more practical hobby car... one that is not this Nice and parts are more easy to get.
This imperial is located in the Netherlands so maybe a European c-body lover is looking for this beauty;-)
Don’t bite my head off, asking price...
Thanks for the input guys! It stops straight and both wheels seems to turn the same. I think it’s just how it should be with those budd brakes. I unbolted the mc from the booster just to check if that releases the rotor but it is not making any diffirance. So for now i’m good (I think;-))
on my ‘67 imperial I found out that de front discs heat up while driving. I can turn the front wheels by hand but I do feel resistance. Rear drums don’t heat up.
I looked in the shop manual and the say the “residual pressure valve” might be the problem and needs to be removed from the mc.
-So...
Yes they are . There from a 77ish imperial. First I wantend to get the original 67/68 covers but these odd covers seem to look just fine the longer I look at them;-)
I see that you got the spring, just like my setup, on the front of the linkage, towards the front of the car. My shop manual showing a spring (13) from the stud towards the rear/firewall direction ... is a spring to the front not giving any problems?
Thanks for that info. Do you have a edelbrock part#? And any photo’s of a setup with aftermarket carb would be great. It’s hard to get the correct parts and info here in the Netherlands so your help is great:-)
Today I got I return spring but it is a firm one so I installed it in a differant location. So far it works but can it do any harm?
Oh, before you guys ask, it is a new card with propane conversion to save fuel cost here in the Netherlands;-)
