Oh man, that is a damn good question as I bought them close to 20 years ago. It may have been from Summit, but I may have also gotten them at the yearly "Western Street Rod Nationals" in Bakersfield. Their vendors carried a lot of stuff; I know I bought some seatbelts and shorty headers there...
Thanks. It's similar to the one we have: 258, 3-speed manual, manual brakes and steering, AC, Dana 15 rear. Also a '73. Of course, all that is gone now, but the manual steering and brakes remain.
There is a difference between tightening to "feel" and tightening to a torque spec. If you have a spec, it should be followed.
I recommend a good wrench with a 1/2" end. You can use an adaptor for smaller sockets. They usually range from 25 to 150 pounds. Sometimes torque ranged are in inch...
I've seen it both ways. My folk's '65 Newport did not have bulbs in the dash, yet my '70 does. A McDonald's co-worked drove his parent's '66 New Yorker, both in and out worked.
