I think I will wait until the fenders are off and then slide the trim off to try and save the clips. It looks like the door and rear quarter trim may slide off as well. Fender trim won't get past the door with fender on the car. Do you make the clips for the lower trim as well?

Thanks, what I am trying to figure out is how to get the moulding off the clips and where to get new clips if I break some. I do have the service manual that identifies them.

I might drill holes in the reinforcement to get access to those well nuts when I get the fenders off. I guess you can get the well nuts at the hardware store. Thanks.

I think 3 of the screws are behind this reinforcement. I am taking the fenders off. Hopefully there is a way without drilling holes in this piece.

How did you get them off the car? The screws on mine are just spinning.

I am disassembling my 300 for restoration and I am in the process of removing various mouldings and was looking for any tips from all the experience here. Top moulding that goes full length of car. Is there any way to get the moulding off of the clips without ruining the clips. I understand...

Yeah I'm pretty sure they sent me the wrong long one by accident. Here is a photo of what they sent me (on the right) and one I made from rubber. I ended up cleaning up the original one. The rest of them fit real good.

The long one for between the front valance and radiator support didn't fit my 71 New Yorker. It was too small. Had to clean up the original.
