Yeah that's me. But it's (the wagon) kinda scary on the snow and ice. That's why I have my Barbie *** Audi AWD with snows on it. Lol!

N to answer your second question- Yes yes I do know how lucky I got. All of my family didn't want her cuz honestly I don't think they knew what to do with her. So I got it!

I was hoping you weren't going to be driving the wagon in the snow. My ex had 2 A6's while I knew her and I liked them both. We sold a '98 with well over 200K on it and there was still nothing wrong with it and got her an '04 with low miles that I think she still owns. I get a nervous twitch every time I see a blue '04 A6 now...

my apologies for not asking about the well-being of your grandparents. forgot my priorities. people should come first. don't want to give you any bad ideas but that wagon's worth the mint. take GOOD care of it. SG

Mine is great in the snow n on the ice or for long distances. I hate the cost of maintaining it. The engine has a bunch of plastic crap attached to the block. Like the freaking thermostat housing! Plastic. And 800 dollars to fix. Oh yeh even if the thermostat goes bad it's still 500 in part 300 in labor if your on the road like I was when it blew a hole in the plastic housing. My fury is seriously a ten dollar do on the side of the road fix. So big diff in cost of parts and labor between the two cars!

Grand dad is still kicking but I don't think that is going to last much longer. Grandma who I named the car after (Roselyn) is long gone. N my parents just moved to Vegas so o I see some road trips out there for this thing soon as suspension brakes n tires are all new here soon!

Audi's are great as long as you don't have to fix them, yeah. My parents bought an 87 Audi 5000 and 3 or 4 extended warranties that got used to the max possible usage. What a pile of crap. after a year or so, everything electrical went at various times, had heat in summer and cold air in winter. Heated seats stopped working, only to start working in September years later much to my surprise! The hydraulic cylinder finally started leaking enough to sell the car. Think a guy gave them 1500 for it, would not shift through all the gears. I learned to never buy a new car because of that Audi, and because I was always taught to be thrifty.

good to hear about your grandfather. i hope he has awareness of where his car is going and that it is so appreciated. it's cool that you honor your grandmother by naming the car after her. that's a nice name in and of itself. here's hoping for 44 more years. all the best, SG
