WELCOME!!
Nice Clodge!
Essentially your car is a Chrysler plucked chicken with a Dodge front clip and dash ,LOL!!
1962 was a low benchmark in the styling department with the smell of Exner lingering in the studio where Elwood Engel was working frantically to save the company.
Full sized Dodge was a fill in for the defunct Desoto and had an identity crisis until Elwood Engel released the 1965 C bodies.

When new, your car was not exactly desirable.
Today,it is the opposite. It is certainly a conversation piece and rolling history of the badge re-engineering Ma was cooking up back in the day.
Again, welcome to the forum and please share your story with us.

Thanks and I will as I get going with this deal. I like the Clodge reference. LOL

With the mods you are planning I nickname her "Hodge Podge Clodge" LOL!! Or Clodge for short!! HA hah!
lol. The car will basically look like it dose now just not on steelies. The car will have a very unmenacing look to it even under the hood. The interior and dash will have some changes. But still early 60s to it. Had a drive train plan change today. So direction getting finalized and some time in March should be phase 1. Front and rear suspension.

Yes to more pics!:icon_fU:[/QUOTE

Yeah they are the cruiser. Man did you notice they just float on the HWY. Drive the same at 30 as they do at 85. Watch the stock wiring it can cause headaches.
Thanks, it definitely Is a cruiser wanting to ride like a cloud at 70 ha. Thanks for the warning on the wiring, may be an upgrade down the rd. Which ac unit are u using? restomod look very custom. Will look forward to seeing your progress.

On the A/C. Not sure yet Vintage Air or I believe Classic is the other one I'm looking at. There's few others I'm sure. Got to get through the suspension phase first. Financially and mentally. LOL. The rear suspension not a problem the front could be tricky. Don't and won't know anything till it's in the shop and get front clip off and start measuring. Don't think anyone has done a coil over with rack and pinion on one of these cars. My thoughts are it either isn't worth doing one of these cars or nobody's that dumb. But I guess I am that dumb. LOL
