This may seem like a ridiculous question, but I feel I have to ask it. Strangely, I cannot find any information on the Internet about this (I keep running into sales links). I just bought a hood insulation pad and I'm looking to install it. The directions say to install it with the skin against the hood, which leaves the side with the bare fiberglass facing the engine. Can this be right? Is there any harm in installing it with the skin facing the motor?
