1966 2-door Chrysler Imperial 440 Beast

CL AD.....

I have a 2 door Chrylser Imperial Crown Coupe ALL ORIGINAL Ocean green running a Monster of a rebuilt 440 with a an upgraded Cam, 650 Edelbrock carburetor, rebuilt 727, Installed a B&M floor shifter. Has ONLY 45K original miles that matches it's immaculate interior. Automatic Everything. Doors/ windows/ power steering , even comes with cruise control . "the knob for the cruise control is dissembled. New A/C unit - A/C gas hasn't been refilled yet. I have all the paper work for the Engine rebuilt at East bay Engine Exchange and for the Transmission rebuilt. The car comes with its original hub caps and Dealer car identification. The imperial has been a father daughter project but due to my recent wedding expenditures and financial hardship of losing my job it's time to let go after many other times of putting it at risk for sale. This car gets many offers to buy each and everything I drive it to places with it needing body work in the drive side front panel. It pains me to let it go but family comes first. The price was not pulled out of a hat, I spent 6K on the engine alone not including parts, 1200 on transmission rebuilt. Please understand I will not get what I put in to it, it is for sale by financial needs and with that all questions are welcomed and all offers will be considered. This project once completed can be worth over 15K with a simple paint job. Thank you for looking.

An Imperial with a B&M floor shifter.
I'm embarrassed for anybody that doesn't see how wrong that is.

I see he visited Mel's out on Geary Blvd. in the City. As for East Bay Engine Exchange I would say nobody serious about their engine would go there. Overall I would say we have true amateur who would claim the car is restored when he finishes with whatever he is attempting.

Good eye on the Mel's tbm3fan - I see you know you way around the bay area, but then again you're only across the bridge LOL!

If the engine was rebuilt worth a **** at all, it sounds like a decent deal, for a driver. Fix the fender, dispose of the floor shifter, aim and shoot!

About a block east of Stanyan.Spent many a year in the area because of the old Coronet Theater at Arguello and the Chevron station. Lived at 21st and Clement for 10 years.

For a while I kind of wanted a racheting shifter for my Fury. But I like the column shifter too much and nobody makes a racheting column shifter.

Looks like a decent car for the money though. 4500 doesn't seem too far out of line in a world where people ask 75k for gto shell.
