A buyer doesn't exist at that price..... Bet he probably has that much in it and figures he's going to get it back.

The ISCA sticker on the vent window tells the tale.

I would give anything to meet the person who actually buys it.

Now, to get something off my chest.
What if the guy who did this, had joined FCBO before the carnage began and described all the things he wanted to do with the car.
Many (too many, in fact) of you would have coddled him with warm man-love and timidly say, "hey, it's your car. Do what makes you happy".

You've all just effed up yet another car.

I'm sorry. I'm into preservation of an ever dwindling part of real Mopar Heritage. All you're doing is leaving K-cars for future generations to wrongly think what Chrysler was all about.

Yes, these beauties are being derbied, donor'd or dumb-assed, more are disappearing every day (BigBrother's intro thread, for example, what a travesty!), but we can't save them all and we can't chase all the new members away. I'll keep my two for as long as possible, but eventually they fall into the wrong hands.

No one I ever come in contact with will remember the K-car, if I can help it. When my kids ask me about Chrysler (ha ha, they don't really, but if they did) I tell them the company went out of business in 1978...

The custom paint isn't that bad IMHO, just wipe off the pinstriping.
Inside the fuselage theme as in airplane is taken to the max.

That is the most organized yard I have ever seen.

this car is getting beat up pretty badly on FaceBook as well...

It's a four-door hardtop, gang. Much of what the seller has done is really pretty tasteless, but he digs it! Expecting to find a buyer with BOTH his lack of taste and lack of common sense in paying $38K it, is next to zip. This is a true custom, and it DOES have a few nice touches on it. The paint job and the Jag gas caps are nice. The EIGHT gallon fuel cell is idiotic! Whoever did the upholstery really did a nice job. Problem is - that is something ONLY the guy building the car is going to fully appreciate. Look at the bright side here...It's NOT a demo derby car!

Id take it at 3800, the 70s van theme applied to a car is different.
38K.. not so much

That french lake yard shot shows alot more grass than I remember.

HERE I AM! The guy who just pressed the BIN!

No, waite, this is not an ebay auction... My condolesses to the seller, no 38K this time.

However, I'm pretty sure if he lives long enough, he is going to get 30K for it. I'm also sure most of us are long gone by then...

I'll take the glass half full approach. The guy obviously is marching to a different drummer but I'd rather see this than the guy who won't sell and leaves it in his backyard rotting into the ground waiting for the day he will restore it.
