How would you honor C bodies at Carlisle?

I'm totally satisfied with our position on the field the last few years. We just need enough allocated spaces for registered cars and the guys that just show up at the gate. The field map isn't published until the last minute every year so they'll have a pretty good idea how much room we'll need.

I think the Carlisle folks (and us) are going to be shocked at the number of C-Body's that are going to be at the show this year.

I run across C-Body owners now and then and even though we are very close to Carlisle here in Maryland I'm surprised that most don't know about the Chrysler's at Carlisle show. I also wrote down the Carlisle and FCBO web addresses for them and invited them to join us. Hopefully they will show at Carlisle. I don't see them joining us here yet.

There are thousands of C body guys across North America that do not participate on Web forums, which puzzles me.

It puzzles me too.

I think most guys stumble upon FCBO while searching the internet for C-Body parts.

There are thousands of older car guys that want nothing to do with computers or the internet. I've had conversations with guys that own more cars then a lot of us put together and they don't own a computer or they say "My wife or kid takes care of that".

The information age has passed a lot of these guys by. It baffles me at times.

All my brothers (3 of them 50-60 years old) except one can't even turn on a computer, operate a smart phone, and barely can get the TV remote to work. Their wives or kids take care of all of that stuff or they call me when no one is around.

What? No parade?!?
:steering:

I'll just have to be satisfied with the 4th of July.

:usflag:

Thanks, Dave, for getting this the attention it deserves.

:thankyou:

Kind of hard if not impossible to have a parade at Carlisle.

Building T is a good way to highlight a car or group of cars.. I wouldn't want my car in there.

Since Carlisle will be celebrating the 50th birthday of the Dodge Charger this year, my guess is that Building T and/or the dealership building will be filled with Dodge Chargers this year.

I think your car is stuck there if in building T, I would not want that, I think the T stands for trailer queen.

Build T is an option for a select few if they go that route for invitational submissions.

It's my understanding that they are done with the dealership building but I don't know what that means.

The C body 50th anniversary was last year. The Charger can wait

I prefer to be within the group or in class. I have not gone into the survivor tent for other reasons but being in class is best, in my opinion.
Which is why I like the tent idea

I have two reasons why I was MIA for a long time.
1) I spent more time on the web than in the garage.
Work on car for 3 hours, post pics and scroll threads for 5..
2) For economical reasons,I cut the 'net and cable. What I saved,I put into the car. .
After ten years,I know..She will get done this year..
