Hey all, just signed up here an wanted to introduce myself. I used to be on the dock when I had a 65 New Yorker 2dr, but I can't for the life of me remember my screen name there So here I am. My father recently passed away and I now have his 300. He got it around '98 or '99. It was 100% stock original at that time, including stock hubcaps and giant 14" bias ply tires. It looked really cool. The paint was nice with the exception of some yahoo sprayed a spot of red primer on all of the little paint chips down the pass side and try as we did we couldn't get it off without a stain so he had it painted. It was a cheaper job at a production paint place, but it's still looking good enough. Paint, a headliner, and some 15" rally wheels and that's how he used it. Now that I have it, I'm going to do some light cosmetic things and make sure the mechanicals are up to snuff and enjoy it. Here's the only pic I have at the moment.

All is well. I took it down and put some high-test in her the other night and took a spin. Under load it had a pretty good misfire, so I swapped out the cap, rotor, and wires for a new set I had laying around. I also swapped on a different set of tires in the rear, 265/70r15s (a little over 1" taller than the 235/75s that were on it) on a pair of factory 15x8 hubcap style wheels. Took it for a spin last night and she's running really nice. The tires didn't hurt the low end, and make it cruise even better than it did so I'm pleased there. I'm amazed at how well this car drives. It was always really nice, but it's been about 10 years since I've driven it myself and it is still the same.
