Rust removal in tight places

I have some rust issues that need to be stopped immediately on a few vehicles. Primarily, one of my 64' chevys and my 05' Ram. In normal restoration I would know what to do (mechanical removal, chemical, then top coats) but both of these vehicles are having issues in very tight spots so mechanical removal is not an option, and it's going to be difficult to reach chemically and with a top coat, but I have to stop the cancer growth.

The Impala is waiting it's turn in the resto line but I need to kill the rust as best as I can until I can start cutting it out in 3-4 years, and the outward paint is not important so if removal is best this can happen. The truck is a different story as I don't want to paint it. The sole issue is a spot less than the size of an eraser on a #2 pencil (if you old farts remember how big that is:icon_fU:), and in the typical rear wheel well lip area where an inner panel meets the exterior with a small gap. I've asked around and the best solution so far was from my body shop buddy who suggest rust-mort and POR 15. I've also wondered about naval jelly, evapo rust, and this product from Australia called action gel, but again with the Dodge the exterior paint needs to be unharmed. So what says the C body crowd?
 
I use FluidFilm on my Tundra . But that is just a coating to stop rust from going further.

I heard of a guy putting Evaporust in a spray bottle and misting a frame with, because it was too big to soak. Maybe spray some in the tight spots and then clean POR-15 instructions and paint it.
 
One word if you're not going to remove the rust and paint the repair... Oil. Ever see a oily cross member survive when the rest of the car rotted away?
 
I'd seal up the 64 Chevy with POR-15 or something similar. Rust needs oxygen to grow and the POR-15 would seal it. That's the theory anyway.

You could probably do something similar with the RAM, just wait for the POR-15 to get tacky and dab some touch up paint on it.

The oil mentioned is a decent idea too, but only for the Chevy.
 
ive thrown a whole bicycle into a tub of OA - bearings, grease, stickers on the frame, tires, the whole unassembled bike - into the dunk. jus sayin. I maybe even wrote it up if its over at bmxmuseum - it was a roger decoster bike... still got the bike, 1976 roger D ! its a nickel plated chrome whatever they did back in the day.
