That's in Claremont NH and they want these windows duplicated in looks. Has to be historically correct, but with new efficiency and ease of operation.
Every day in some part of New England
I'd be really interested in what the specs are for the new windows.
Wood, aluminum, vinal..
Douple, tripple, pane?
Number of windows?

I had a friend who was responsible for all the historical preservation of reconstruction at Harvard University.

They will be thermally broken aluminum double hangs. Also the half rounds and transoms will be as well. The glass will be 1" solarban 500 lowe glass. The grid work will be simulated divided light with exterior bars to line up with them all will be powder coated dark bronze. Because of the size of some all will have the sash lock on the bottom lift rail. There are 19 units (small batch) in this phase. The glass is double pane

Cylinder pressures v. time in milseconds. The highest point would represent TDC ignition. Each individual cylinder is represented by a color. The reason for the photo was to show an instrumentation issue with #5 (green), making it appear as a weak cylinder (problem actually with instrumentation).

And to Matt's point, I do like that so many of us still "do" stuff (build, transport, research, test, protect, defend, etc.) Yet it seems the "entertainers" and distractors have the loudest voice.

This was a great idea for a thread.

Carmine do you know David Gardiner with Nexuum Research?

He does R&D with that stuff. You can actually "see" detonation starting with that long before you can hear it.

Pretty cool stuff.

Afraid I don't know him... I Googled the name of the company and couldn't find anything. Sure you spelled it right? Is he from the Detroit area?

And yes, I do have another screen (Ocilascope) that shows detonation. I don't really need to watch it much because the calibration this engine runs is basically stock. It's "other parts" of the engine that are more exotic, and that's all I can say about that :)

Hmmmm...l had you figured for a hovel in the back 40.....:poke:
Autobody by trade, so I guess that could have been possible, but the American dream hit me hard in the '80's and I found a college degree more desirable than unemployment, which only lead to more unemployment until I found "the cave". The rest, as they say, is history.

:usflag:

Yep I spelled it wrong. Dave lives about 45 minutes from me.

Backside of a data rack. We leave it neat, then the customer comes along and leaves the front a mess.

But I traded all that in for this, and I'm not going back:
