Nice car! You could buy it and sell one of the tires to recoup some of your money...

Beautiful! Can't tell with the blurry pics, but that interior looks like it is a Cordoba edition.

That one can't possibly last long, priced right, special edition, not even that far away for most of us....

SELLER DESCRIPTION - $6500

This beautiful car is a 1970 Chrysler Newport with only 22,000 original miles . 383 two barrel 290 hp , air-conditioner blows cold air . Six new tires mounted . New shocks, transmission fluid filter changed, rear end fluid changed and engine oil filter changed . New brake shoes and new front brake hoses . Brake lines flushed with new fluid. See picture with receipt of many new parts. Will respond to calls and text only, I do not email.

Seller may not know what they have there ..looks like even the special Aztec hood/fender emblems are still there, but he doesn't photograph the hood emblem. And ALL his "unobtainable today" vinyl is still there and looks great (to the extent of the photo quality anyway).

Its rare AND nice .. but we all know that doesn't necessarily mean "valuable". But, as has been stated, the asking price seems very reasonable -- maybe even on the "low end".

Wish 'em good luck with it.

Nice! I hope someone here buys it before it goes to Lash or some other high priced dealer who'll put a $22,000 price tag on it.

Did someone say Cordoba??

Nice car looks like a little vinyl roof trouble passenger rear but otherwise very nice and has 2 spares!

hmm. i thought that was leaves given the season/setting.

anyway, odd place for an advertised 22K mile car (sure looks like it to me from 5 ft away) to have any issues with the roof?

hopefully, if it is damaged, its just peeling (and its not damaged/weakened anywhere else) and most of the grain is still there .. cuz we ain't gonna find that "Espanol" roof grain pattern today I dont think.

Not very rare if they produced over 3000 2dr and sedans, still a lot cooler than a Hurst IMHO, and a lot harder to find in this shape. Had I the cash this would be in my driveway now. I hope someone here gets it. Carsten hasn't chimed in yet, wonder if this will make the trip across the pond....:realcrazy:

Me? naw man. I am a "pacifist" online -- too hard to "win" an "internet fight" :). I'm just havin' fun .. trying to contribute/trying to learn stuff.

Your point back then .. finding the hood/fender emblems .. darn near impossible I reckon today. The car that started this thread HAS its fender emblems .. havent seen another one yet that does just looking around today.
