This is my car & its garaged in Salem, VA. I was selling an AMC project on Craigslist early summer 2016 & a guy called & claimed he could sell it for me. I wasn't interested but we got to talking about my collection & how this Dodge is def. the nicest car Ive ever owned & how proud I was of it. Pretty much one of a kind, been in the Mopar Collectors guide, etc. Anyway he said he would help me sell it. I wouldn't mind cashing it in but not really either. This is THE FIRST TIME IVE SEEN ANYTHING from him in 6 months, I never knew if he actually did it! He took the photos from google & wrote the description based on our short phone conversation & most of it appears to be made up/completely wrong or outdated info. This is why CL people write: "I don't need help selling it" in the ads. If these people call: HANG UP with extreme prejudice! Id be willing to talk to anyone interested in the car (the phone # is correct) but the car is not high on my list to sell. By the way: the name in Jason not John.

I know the guy who built this car. He lives about 20 miles from me. I believe it was in Mopar muscle magazine as well! Kind of interesting!

Not a huge fan of unoriginal cars but I like it......color is perfect. Of course, I'd prob rather have that FK5 monaco loaded htp that is for sale in Cali right now.

Agreed on that, when I was selling a $3000 box truck (so def not a special-interest vehicle that needs special marketing) I got many automated calls from brokerage houses (or just fly-by-nite scams).

Although I've seen quite a few things on CL where I think 'nope, you're definitely gonna need help selling that thing!'

This is a really wonderful car because it has so much going for it. Its a 2 door from 71 so its a little rare & not from a typical poor performance year which most Mopar enthusiasts will agree began in 72. Its a damn good looking body style especially from the rear. Its big with plenty of room for 6. Its powerful with the 440, six pack, its fun to drive with the 4 speed. Its got a comfortable ride with the c-body suspension. It really is clean inside & out. I paid more for this than anything Ive ever owned but I have never regretted it because Ive got something beautiful, dependable & a one of a kind. I'm sure you have noted that fuselage cars are increasing in value & this is my long term investment vehicle. Its never let me down. Its always garaged & covered. Its fun being the biggest, fastest thing on the road. Someday I may sell it but its not high on my list to do so because they make more money everyday but replacing this NOW would cost me more than I paid 3 years ago. I'm crazy about c-bodies & that's why I share with everyone. I truly feel this c-body has everything going for it in one package.
