Here are pics of a couple 70's cruise control stalks I have, one from a truck and one from a car... the difference being the truck is a straight stalk and the car is angled.

I haven't seen how the cruise control stalk attaches inside the column in a 60's vehicle to know if the 70's ones are usable.

The stalk for a '68 Chrysler looks different I am not sure if it would still work. Would anybody know? Thanks Rene'

The function of the switch is basically the same....so it should work fine. The rest of the system is pretty much the same, so should bolt up fine to the inner fender and the cable lengths should be fine. The only difference might be in the brake light/cut out switch.....that might cause you some issues?

Here's a couple of pics of the 71 Chrysler factory cruise stalk. I have all the parts from it. Selling it complete as a set. Let me know if this interest you

Here is everything. I have not removed the cruise stalk & harness from the column yet so I just plugged it in to show it's the one. The other pic of me holding the two unconnected wires go under the dash. So 3 sections of this harness. 2 connectors to the servo. One connection to the column & 2 to your main underdash. Also note the two speedo cables. One from the cluster to the servo. The other from the servo to the trans.

Same harness to under dash harness. Here is where you need to be be creative. If your car doesn't have a way to connect these then you will have to splice it in. I likely have the connectors with a short pigtail to help with this.

The cable from the servo go's to the carb. You may need a longer stud to attach that cable. I would think it would fit right next to the regular Acelerator cable

That looks like a C-body bracket attached to the servo. The studs should line up to two dimples on the inner wheel well that are where the unit mounts. Just need to make sure they match and drill holes for them. Make sure to get the brake switch and Lost Motion Link as well as the throttle cable adapter.

Here is a great reference on Speed Control: http://www.mymopar.com/downloads/mtsc/298.pdf
Figure 28 shows the Lost Motion Link.

68 was the last year for Auto pilot...a totally different set up, I believe.

Don't forget the servo cable to carb linkage and the brake switch and the bracket that keeps the servo cable away from the exhaust (bottom bracket)
