    Power Window Motor Repair

The quarter windows seemed a little slow going up, I thought it was due to dirt and old grease, but upon disassembly, the regulator and tracks were in excellent original condition w/ nice OEM grease. Now I have to find springs......

    Power Window Motor Repair

I encountered the "pucks" on my '73 NY. Now working on a '71 2-door HT, springs. I like the springs better, for both function and longevity. Reading this thread, I'm tempted to open the motors while I have them out to inspect the brushes. Everything works and looks good, but you never know...

    My neighbor ruined my plans

At least the damage seems to be confined to the rear door. There might be some repair to the strike and "B" pillar.... Hopefully the interior trim panel is unscathed. A good example of how vulnerable these cars are to side impacts.... before the era of door reinforcements. The biggest...

    Console pics

That's what I was thinking. Instead it makes a right turn at the floor and then goes laterally for about 1" each side. These are all OEM materials installed back in the same locations... I added dynamat to the floors so they raised up very slightly slightly to meet the console just a tad...

    YOM PLates

My 1994 "DMV clear" plates discussed above, awaiting a car. Formerly on my Chevy... Note the starting digit. 30 years later, still on the same sequence, now at 9J or k. I believe this system started with the 7-digit blue plates in the early 80s, then went into the "sun" plates, then the white...
