What are you working on today??

Started the day with the intention of replacing some plug wires, on my winter beater Jimmy, that a squirrel chewed through. Ended the day with everything over the inner fenders removed, that could be, and the inner fenders removed. I got side tracked looking at the rust and before I knew it the...

    What is your daily driver?

I've always wanted a 2dr Tahoe/Yukon. Just can never find one in decent shape and reasonably priced around me.

What are you working on today??

The Newport is easily the lowest maintenance classic I've had in quite a few years, so I'm driving it to get an 18mm wrench to finish the front shocks on my 2020 F250. Rears are done.

What are you working on today??

Fixed an interference issue between the fan and fan shroud. Previous owner appeared to have used bondo to repair the shroud. Made it a little too thick and when the engine moved the fan would hit it. I ground it down a bit to get me by while I look for a new/used one.

    What is This Symbol Mean?

It's a light that comes on to tell you to regen your vehicle, if equipped. Most passenger diesels do this automatically. That light might not come on ever until the DPF is plugged beyond the regens ability. Meaning it's time to replace the DPF. One of the JD tractors at work has a button to...

    What is This Symbol Mean?

That's not the regen symbol. That's the exhaust brake symbol. Regen: Exhaust brake: That said, there should be a button in the centre that looks the same. It activates it.

    The 1973 Chrysler Thread

These are the clearest pics I have of the tag. Short of taking it off and wire wheeling the paint off. Which is not something I plan on doing anytime soon.
