NOT MINE The 4spd ‘76 New Yorker is back! (Not Mine)

The paint does not look great in the photos.. but to give a little credit, last time I saw it years ago the OE white was very tired. At least it looks like they tried to cover the white in the jambs/etc. but again, how nice is it really?? Surprised the scoops and wheels are still there myself...

    Bitchin Rides

Thanks Man!! Happy early Thanksgiving! Me too!! The show got me thinking about building another. But then go “hey, jackass! You already got a car waiting in line for some love” lol. Really need to get back out there. She has a full tank of turpentine stinking up the garage…. Hope your doing...

Thank you sir!! Been doing a bit of looking around, great to see some old friends/familiar faces. A lot of new folks around as well! Now that would be fun!! Idk if as cool as the 4spd formal, but we could get into a little trouble at least LOL

    Bitchin Rides

Been a LONG time since I’ve been on here/posted. Hope everyone is doing well! Can’t lie, I’m a bit proud, and came here to see if anyone saw it. But that’s my ole car!! The Bluesmobile About crapped my pants when I saw it was on TV/Motor Trend! Pics of it surfaced earlier this year on...

    Flat towing a C body

Had no problems flat towing mine south years ago (car wise). As mentioned, disconnect the driveshaft, unlock the steering wheel, and unhook the battery. I removed the grill as to not mark it up with the tow bar. Borrowed an old tow bar from a buddy. One piece of advise, don’t go cheap on...

    O gauge Trains

That’s awesome!! Heard and seen a lot of good things about the LionChief Big Boy. She looks great! I was referring to the reefer cars behind the big boy in the picture. Thought they were the vision cars- Pacific Fruit Express VISION Line Steel-Sided Reefer 3-Pack I just ordered a set of...

    O gauge Trains

Thank you!! When I started out I really wasn’t looking to make money, and still am not. However I won’t turn it down if I can..... LOL This has turned into another side hobby of “the hobby” if that makes sense. There are a couple stipulations you have to meet in order to start making $$ on...

The American way! Love em of hate em, it’s gonna suck if nobody picks up the torch. This pretty much leaves Lionel the only game in town in the “mainstream”. I love Lionel, but I can’t swing $1600 engines that need repairs every other month. I adore my Postwar stuff, but also like playing...

    O gauge Trains

Sucks we couldn’t make it this year. Sabrina was a bit upset as well. Maybe next year..... I need a car to take though. We did it the other year without a car, and wasn’t as much fun. I love the new truck, but it don’t count lol. Newport needs a ton of work as well. And the dually ain’t making...

    O gauge Trains

Absolutely! Like everyone else, I was quite shocked at the announcement. Same here for me, their stuff is the best currently. I do wish the sounds could get on the same level as modern Lionels, but I’ll take a little hit in the sound department for the bulletproof dependability they offer...

    O gauge Trains

Been a busy train month! My wallet has not been to happy with me..... Some of you may have heard, MTH announced they are shutting down the business next year. Pretty sad news. They did have a good run! 40 years in the business. Hopefully somebody picks them up. Hearing the news, I decided I...

    The new ride!

I don’t have any Newport News as of late..... However the Longhorn got its first oil change and tire rotation the other week. We’re at 5300 miles so far. Another detail day today! I just noticed, I didn’t have any truck **** shots showing off under the hood. Took a couple today while wiping...

    statistically speaking...

Could be dirt sure, but looks like rust to me. As stated though, the only people who would know for sure were there. What leads me to believe rust is- A. That car survived that long looking that good? That had to have been someone’s baby. With the short glimpses we get, I don’t think anyone...
