Thanks. But if i rebuild the engine the compression ratio will change and will not match the original specification of 8.2:1' right?

Thank you, Carsten. In Israel I use the 95 octane. Supposing that I will rebuild the engine, what should I do choosing the Pistons? I know that the original specs for the engine compression is 8.2.

Thank you so much. The car is a 1973 Imperial and the compression ratio shpuld be 8.2:1. Here in Israel we have 95 or 98 octane. I thought that ordering a 440 would be simple, but as more as i read here i think it may be better to rebuid it here. But what if the block was hurt?

Thank you all, guys, for the info and help. There are aome mechanics here that can rebuild it, but i thought i can buy a remanufactured like in the attached links and save some money. The engine is out now. it seems that it threw a rod, and i don't know much more...
