I've owned many Formals with the B & the RB plant. My opinion is that you can definitely feel the torque of the 440 vs the 400. My 77 T&C always amazes me on road trips with MPG numbers that defy reason. I got 19.6 MPG (my all time best...I normally would get 18.8) on the prairies last time...

That Haze Green 68 looks just like the Fury I Slant 6 auto I used to own. It was a stripped down thing... radio delete, no PS, no PB, just a heater for those Canadian winters up here. Great cars.

Does the Mopar Imperial rim clear? Or are you using GM rims...very interested in the shim and caliper bracket specs so that I can duplicate for my 68.

I love all Imperials stylistically, so it's very hard for me to pick a particular year but I will throw out some years I really super like? 33, 49, 51, 54, 55, 59, 60, 65, 68, 69, 73, 74, 75, 81, 90 So it's really down to colours and options: My preferences: I like Black, Blue, Brown, Green...

It's a New Yorker grille for sure, rear is Newport. The Ford mirrors are the other cosmetic flaw to the NY touches.

This mirror is Dodge or Plymouth application, not Chrysler/ Imperial. Chrysler/ Imperial bases are not flat like this one, but curved to fit the body line of the door.

The Left hand one looks like it is for a Slab...looks the same as my 68 Imperial, except its, of course a different emblem bolted on.

About the Imperial vs NY masters and boosters. Boosters are interchangeable. The 50-50 Imperial master is required for the 4 wheel discs if you still have them...you risk running out of fluid to the rear calipers otherwise.
