    i put a jack in my AM radio in my newport. less than $10 spent at radio shack and found a site where a guy explained how he converted corvair radios. very simple if you can use a soldering gun. plays music off of my phone, i can even use it as a speaker phone...

    thanks guys. it's not really as high as it looks in that pic. i added some leafs from a 72 imperial i junked to the existing stacks and cranked the t bars a few turns. . it sits nice on level ground with just a slight rake

    i have 275/60s on 8.5 inch ET mags (not sure of back space) on my 73 newport. but i put an in 8 3/4 out of a 69 fury that was 3 inches narower overall than the 8 1/4 that was in it from the factory. with the factory rear i had to jack the car up and let the rear hang down just to get a 225/70...
