Yes. The 516 heads will be fine. You should select a dual pattern cam with a little more exhaust duration than intake. I'm running this setup in my 66 300 with a 440 and a 2.94 rear gear. Terrific throttle response and it cruises great.

I don't think so. Years ago Mancini had a big shop near Baltimore. That shop is closed. Mancini built a new small shop next door to his house in Westminster. That is where my engine was done.

I hear you. But your car is very rare, and the blue interior really works with the original color. A proper black paint job is gonna cost a fortune. In addition, Imperial interior changes/restoration is highly expensive as well . But it's your car, so do it to please yourself.
