    I think it's just leaking at the base. The A/C shop owner lives across the street. They're pretty well respected as a good auto A/C shop. I'll have to ask why he didn't recommend a new gasket.

    Ensure that the R134A includes dye, or add it, otherwise you won't see the leak.
