I had used the term ledger screws above, also called washer head for some and also truss head sheet metal screws, that have a washer head unlike a pan head. Seems no. 8 very short will work???

Yep, the half inch clip works properly.....the rear end of mine was up and loose, so I just slipped a new clip in the slot, with opening about 3/4 to the rear end, and it went into the problem hole as it should.....lucky. Interesting that mopar just had to change things around so much....just...
