    Break light turns signal issue

I have had a bad ground in my dash that caused a strange problem. My dash signal indicators would be 'on' all the time and when I would activate my turn signals, the dash indicators would blink 'off'. Really strange what ground loops can do.

    Break light turns signal issue

My bet would be the turn signal switch. Front and rear turn signals are separate parallel circuits. There is a front turn signal circuit which includes the dash indicators, and a rear turn signal circuit that includes brake lights. If pressing on the brakes illuminates the dash indicators...

    Mini starter installation

The OP mentioned that he connected the wires/cables before he bolted in the starter. The extension terminals allow mounting the starter first, then connecting the wires/cables.

No Head/Tail Lights, but break lights work...

Some years they used fusible links in the headlight power circuit (power in). If you have no power to the switch, look for a burnt link. There are typically more than one fusible link, separate ones for alternator, headlights, etc.

Turn signals not working - 65 newport

There is a metal channel that runs practically the length of the dash, lowest edge. Sometimes you can look under the dash and not see the flasher because it is up on that 'ledge'. Feel around and you should find it.

Turn signals not working - 65 newport

Yes, there is a signal flasher and a separate emergency flasher (if so equipped). My 65 Fury has the signal flasher located somewhere near the ashtray IIRC.

Self park wiper motor not parking

FYI, What TrainTech55 about the ground is spot on. Also, the wiper switch itself needs a good ground as well.

    Mystery Wire

I agree, Oil Sender wire. Ground it, if you have a warning light, it will illuminate. If you have a gauge, it will peg high.

    Time Delay Relay

It isn't really a relay. It's a little round silver thing less than an inch in diameter and about 1 1/2 inch long. It gets a ground from the driver side door jamb switch that makes one of those 'bi-metalic' strips get hot and supply power to the key light. When it cools off (after door...

    turn signal issue

In addition to the bulbs, look to see if the socket contacts have twisted out of place. The plastic disk that holds the electrical contacts for the bulb has a locator tab that keeps it aligned to the correct position for the bulb. The tab can break off and if that happens, the contacts will...

    no electrical power

Most likely, you have a burned out Fusible Link (basically a 'fuse wire'). It will usually be either connected to the positive battery post/wire, the main stud on the starter relay, or possibly off the main positive cable at the starter itself. There are usually more than one of them as they...
