No worries. I think clip #5 can be easily replaced with universal ones (as long as diameter is ok). The "critical" ones are #3 and #1. As to #4, I think it's this one, but not 100% sure. Anyway, they are 55-56 years old... Probably very brittle.

A few pictures of the wonderful world of clips and fasteners :) ... Wondering whether #2 and #3 below are the same (#3 are on the door, #2 are on the rear fenders). But the #2 are almost all gone, just found these remains behind the moulding. #1 is obviously broken too... I must say I was rather...

Replying to myself. The adjacent clips have a also a pin. They look so fragile, and it seems they came with a tiny o-ring.

Thank you again! I forgot to say: the round ones have a little pin in the middle that needs to be pushed first so one can remove the retainer.

While I was reverse engineering the Sentinel photocell (now that I have put the cap back on, any tree on the street makes the lights to come on due to lack of light, even if it's bright sun outside...), my right foot touched the lower outer aluminum panel trim of the driver's door, and I noticed...

In the unlikely eventuality they are equipped with the Sentinel system, I wouldn't mind the light sensor on the dash, or at least the small cap on top of it (picture is a '66, but it looks the same).

Thank you for the pictures. Looks like all right tail lights that I can find have severe pitting. Mine is the same, right tail light is badly pitted. Production issues?
