One thing I miss on my 1965 Fury III is a rear-view mirror on the passenger side. Anyone know if this was a factory or dealer-installed option? If so, where can I find repro items or an original I can restore?

So the toggle is different. That would be obvious. How hard is it to take apart? So the mirror itself is the same size A,B and C bodies, and 65-66? Did you find these mirrors that you linked to be of good quality, Big_John?

Thanks for these references. Plenty of vendors advertise for "66 and up A & B bodies." What separates the A and B bodies' mirrors from the C bodies" mirrors? Anything? And what changed in 1966 from 1965? I am tempted to bite and buy a left side remote for my 1965 Fury. Can't be too much...

(From a dentist) On humans it is preferable to have teeth. On drive belts for old cars it really does not matter. But seriously, someone told me that the toothed belts are supposed to dissapate heat better.

I am trying to restore my 1965 Fury III to show quality but wanted a passenger side rear view mirror for safety and convenience. There is a guy who sells reproductions that are left-right identical. I am tempted to install one, but do any of you know if it was a factory option on this trim line?

How much the car appreciates in the future depends on how much polticians debase our money supply. But if its nominal price doubles in 10 years, and the the price of everything else doubles as well, did the car value really "appreciate," or did the measuring stick for value jus shrink by half...

Maybe THAT is why they would not fit in front! But if I recall, the tack-welded nuts are BEHIND the radiator support, which made me believe they were mounted in FRONT!
