    Adjust the catch on the car. Three minute job because that shows the wear. I had the the same issue DON’T start jacking the door; good grief, the permanent damage that could cause: cringe!

    Use light machine oil. WD-40 is not oil and turns to gum! Marvel Mystery Oil or sewing machine oil.

    When I tell people in the know that I am restoring a 65 SF convertible they usually laugh and say “you picked one of the hardest!” Regarding the clips, I was elated I found them and only cost me a buck and a half per clip!

    Looked high and low for clips which attach the dash pad to the dash. Closest I can find is "u-nut" at the hardware store but no bolt attached or can be jury rigged. Does anyone know if and where they can be procured?

    Had two SF's and installed Sun Tach's in both. Don't understand the "install from the top" and "install from the bottom?" I took the top plate off the console and it was no big deal!

He does a reproduction to OEM specifications, correct vinyl, correct color, new metal, new foam, new clips, new bolts or in other words, exactly as from the factory; new, not restored...
