Seats are OK; have not seen headliner; but driver's door panel needs replacing. I figure the change would be expensive. Wondering if anyone has done such a change.

Absolutely. But, I am thinking a replacement regulator is needed.

A friend of mine has a '65 New Yorker two door car, and each of the bucket seats has a headrest. Great option.
