    Some inner tierods use set pins/screws, that you need to remove first. I would be cautious using heat to loosen a hub nut, the wheel bearing and it's grease are directly behind the nut.

    Are you going to completely remove the lower control arm from the sub frame? If so, It's not that bad as long as the torsion bars aren't stubborn and slide out.

    Roger that Bob. I really like the Road Wheels. but prefer Wheel Covers. I have gathered up almost every set that were available for '74-'78 Formals, and swap them out every now and again. It's pretty cool how changing them out changes the look, while staying ''era'' correct.

    I would say ''Flat'' black behind the rings and on the back side. Seems to me they would want you to see the shiny stuff, just the same as ''Blacking out'' the core support on earlier cars to hide the body color through the grill.

    They weren't KYB, but yes. On mine the steel sleeve was about an 1/8 of an inch to short. I took them back for a different pair and they were the same. I guess I could have used some washers, but instead I was able to just squeeze the gap closed with the bolt. I have also seen where the...
