I don't mind additions if they were period so much. My 65 has an add on hazard light switch (the instructions from 1965 are still in the glove box). Also has a JC Penny add on FM unit that I was going to remove but am still debating.
Any pictures at all? It sounds like a great price.

Yeah. There is a 66 VIP for sale here in Indiana for 12k I think. It's very clean though. I'm really surprised the money people are getting out of 4doors. Like was mentioned everything else is out of site. E bodies are starting to come down now as are B bodies. A bodies are climbing and so are C...
I would imagine the market is just a lot different there. Maybe not THAT different, but certainly the appetites are different. You'd be hard pressed to get 10k from it here in the US I'd think.
Well, good to know. I had seen one rusted out 4 speed, so it must have been a 65. I liked the grills on the 66 in particular. But to be honest, even finding any 4 speed 300 (even a 65) would be uncommon.
Man, nice car for the money. I'm looking for a project 66 300 vert with a 4 speed. Probably never find one, but that's ok too. I have to say I LOVE the dash on these.
Mine is light tan as well. Just found a 66 wagon... light tan. Still a great looking car I think. To be totally honest, I've been looking up 66 300 verts on my breaks for a while now.
Yes it was. The short of the story is that it belonged to the family of a friend of his. If interested, pm me and I can get you his phone for the full explanation.
A friend of mine has a 66 monaco/383 but he is pulling the 383/727 out of it. Another friend of his wants to use it as a stock car. He would rather see it go to a better fate than that . PM me if you might be interested. He says it's solid except for the quarters. No motor/trans, no title...
I've longed after a 71 Cuda for many years and have had an E body and A body but with the current prices, I can't. However it is my opinion that while they won't utterly lose their value, I think what befell the 50's cars will also happen to the muscle cars. I'd wager that over the next 15 years...
