    Oval Trunk Body Plug

I have a coffee can full of old body plugs. May have the one you need. Got a pic of it or the size?

    Radiator Core Support

C body cars in the mid 60's - 70s had a bolt in core support. Unlike the B bodies that were welded in. I think 66-69 Dodge Plymouth Chrysler were interchangeable but don't quote me. At least 66-67. As was previously mentioned, No 26" in 65 but they were interchangeable with the 22" supports.

    Radiator Core Support

Probably would need to find any 68 Plymouth that had AC. I believe all AC 68's got the 26" radiator.

    vapor lock

We can all speculate on the "whys, hows and what fors" of vapor lock. Myself, I really couldn't care less. I am just glad Mopar got exposed to it and found a fix for it long before we even knew it was a problem. I had never heard of it until my brother's 383 4 speed Charger started doing it. My...

    vapor lock

IMO, I believe the vapor lock occurs in the pump itself from heat of the engine migrating to the pump when shut down. I believe that is why Mopar created the vapor separator and installed it after the pump to send the vapor back to the tank. It is the only theory that makes sense to me since the...

    vapor lock

I'm not familiar with that Wix 33040 filter. Does it have an orifice in the return nipple to shunt the return back to the tank like the Mopar separator does? If not, you may be sending too much fuel back to the tank and starve your engine. Another thing you may consider is pulling your send unit...

I have a 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury indy pace car replica.

There is not much to those pumps that can fail. The seals are the usual issue and are still available for the most part. I replaced the seals in mine a couple years ago. I did have to get the factory part number for the shaft seal though. I put in a couple of replacement seals from a local parts...

L code 68 300 convertible fuel sending unit size

The 3/8 fuel line with 1/4" return was designed to better cope with vapor lock. IMO, they should have included the 383 but we all know that the almighty dollar made most of the decisions for them.

    Water pump woes!

I too thought they would be the same. Pictures prove it though. I agree with the idea of cleaning up the old one. A wire brush on an angle grinder will be your friend or if you have a week, toss it in a molases bath for a few days.

    Interior condensation

If you added a couple ounces of Stabil to the 5 gallons of gas, you should be ok without filling the tank. I don't store my cars outside but I never fill the tanks before storing either. Same with my lawnmowers, just add some Stabil and I have never had a problem but I don't run ethanol in any...

    Convertible carpet question

I bought a new carpet from ACC for my 65 Sport Fury Convert a few years ago. I had to trim it in a few spots but it fit perfectly.

    65 fury II taillight

Those outer trim pieces and the deck mouldings are near impossible to find in any kind of shape these days. I looked at over 20 of these cars in a salvage yard years ago and it seems every corner is bashed in or broken. I have one lower moulding but it is just slightly better than nothing. Both...

    65 Sport Fury Console Resto

Thanks Ross, It has held up pretty good. It received "Best interior" once back in the 90's. I had my seats and door panels done back in 1985 before Legendary started making them with the correct heat pleats and chromed mylar strips. People that don't know these cars always ask me if it is original.

You need to find some automotive vinyl. The junk you can get from a hardware store won't stick. (I tried it) Here is some that should work for you. Something like the #2 or #6 if you like the lighter grain. https://www.ebay.com/itm/175201449918?_

66 Plymouth drivers side window came loose for the chrome trim

I think the factory used 1/16" window setting tape. Any automotive glass shop should have it.
