I went through the same thing, My fury's 360 had the Holley 2210 2bbl. Even after a fresh rebuild it still ran like crap. My advise is to just get a new edelbrock and be done with it.

I got saddled with the 8 1/4 on my 71 sport fury with the 360/727. It works well and I've been told by various sources that it'll work until my engine starts to kick out some serious power. Glad you were able to fit the 8 3/4 on your car, I would too if I had one on hand and enough spare time.

I suppose maybe the availability of parts and performance parts probably temped him to make the switch. Can't blame him. Must be torture to try and find parts for a poly 318.

is that an oil filter on the side? for some reason I thought turbine engines didn't use oil... Then again it has been a while since I read up on them. Think that engine would fit in one of our C bodys?
