I'd also like to add a huge thanks to Kp, you did amazing work. Hope you get another classic soon!

Hey guys, it's been a while. Decided to check up on my old Fury here and I saw that kp6401 really whipped the Fury into shape. Couldn't believe how good it looked. Now a friend of mine found it for sale on this website. Glad Kp was able to sell it, hope he came out alright. Think many of us know...

His name was Chris, I guess he moves back and forth between Italy and Pennsylvania. Like I said he seemed like a nice guy but pretty much wasted my time.

Thanks Cantflip, I'll take your advise. You know what's weird? There doesn't seem too be a shoebox ford forum. Anyhow I'm not planning on changing her body. I'm gonna do a couple performance upgrades though. Disk brakes, wider tires (atleast an inch, I'm keeping the 14 inch rims though.)...

Thanks guys! I really like how it handles itself. It has a 350 chevy in it too. I most likely won't be chopping it, I like the way it looks with the stock roof line lol. I will be raising the front end though. It's got a slight rake to it that I'm not big on.

So I suppose I'll do a follow up to what happened with the Fury for any interested parties. That guy from Italy who I said bought it sort of strung me along for a full month. In retrospect I should have probably told him too bad earlier and relisted the car much sooner then I did, but he seemed...

Yeah I understand what you mean. I've been pretty down these last couple days, just thinking about this is enough to give me a headache

Thanks Big John, I sort of arrived at the same conclusion. I'm gonna be shopping it around as much as I can but I seriously can't afford something like that and go to college at the same time. And letting it set until I have the money together probably won't work either... It seemed like the guy...

Not looking for a monetary return honestly, just trying to get my Fury looking presentable.

Thanks, So a bit of bad news. I've been shopping around Some of the body work, specifically the quarter panels. And not a lot of shops will even touch it. The one I just went to said to correctly fix it I would need to fix the trunk pans and the wheel wells otherwise the quarters will have...

Can anyone tell me which way this thing goes on? (The thing I'm holding onto in the picture) do I have it on the right way? It doesn't seem very secure.

Here's a shot of the caulk job. Looks like it'll hold.I'm thinking of testing it with a garden hose tomorrow.

Have We Seen This Sport Fury Before?

Thats a great color on that car. One of the few times "Patina" looks decent too.

I guess this guy glues on panels on older cars. Thanks for you input, Something about glueing on a new car's panels seems wrong to me anyway

Bit of an update. The Fury is running well, I'm about to change out the front brake pads, I figure it's probably been over a decade since they've been changed and I'm not really in the mood to try and find rotors for my car if they get warped. I'm leaving the drum brakes alone until I can make...

No, does that stand for factory service manual? I don't have one. Also I figured it out about an hour after I posted that question lol, like almost every issue I had so far the solution was pretty much staring me in the face.

I'm kinda stumped here guys, how does the side trim on the 71 fury go together? I got the inner and outer metal trim pieces in, but I can't figure out how the rubber window trim goes on. Does it glue on or something? I see it screws on near the front but then after that there doesn't seem to be...

All good points. I've never pulled an engine before and I'm suspecting that it's a lot less difficult than I'm imagining.

Pretty much, I'm just wondering when is a good time and if I should have the guy pull the engine with the proper tools or if I should do it in my driveway
