1977 Town & Country Resto

Looks like I will be here for a while on this board. Might as well post my project car.

General Information

This is as close to a 1974 white loaded Town & Country I could find. It was my dad's first 'custom ordered car' and one he really liked. He traded it away before I learned to drive, but I remember the road trips and the awesome ride (though Mom always complained it didn't 'float' like a Buick). Started the resto with a stripping of the exterior and a repaint.

Hell ya.. my parents had a 76 Town & Country yellow and woodgrain just like yours, I remember many trips and fun memories of that car.. thanks for saving her..enjoy

There is something about the Town and Country wagons only a MOPAR person can appreciate. I had a 1976. picked it up from a local dealer in 1985. I LOVED THAT CAR. My 70+ mph couch. It handled like a dream. My Mom was still driving at the time. She was 4 foot 9 inches tall and was having t rubble seeing over the steering wheel of the 1967 Fury III. The power bench seat with tilt steering of the T/C she could see perfectly. My friends said are you worried about her driving a big car. I said no. She learned to drive on a 1937 Packard. If, God forbid, she was in a accident?; in this car she would be fine. I am glad to see the car. I noticed a NY tag on the car. Where in NY. I am in Yorktown Heights. Enjoy the ride.

Upstate. same state. Different solar system. As long as your wearing a seat belt, this car is safe!
