I have decided to put my 1956 Chrysler Windsor up for sale. I have worked on this car for the last summer and my health ailments prohibit me from finishing it.
This jewel sat for 23 years in a climate controlled warehouse after the original owner had a stroke.
This is a 4 door Windsor with a completely rebuilt 1955 New Yorker 331 hemi engine Eng # NE5517125 with a push button powerflite tranny. It has dual exhaust and a new carburetor. I fixed the wiring and changed all the ignition parts and rebuilt the distributor.
It took a couple of months but I got the hemi running great and the automatic tranny to shift good. I took out the headliner that was hanging down and kept it for a template. I repaired the upholstery and repaired the brakes (new lines and wheel cylinders in the back as the wheels were frozen.) The gas tank needs boiling out as the pick up tube is clogged. It is running off a gas can in the trunk.
All the lights and signals, horn and heater and air conditioning unit works. The gas gauge doesn't work (sending unit bad) and the radio doesn't work.
The car has power brakes , power steering and AIR CONDITIONING that works great.

The body is in great shape for a 1956 with no dents and just needs to be sanded and painted. It was white with red fins and red top. There is a rust through hole in the spare tire well in the trunk, water must have got trapped there. I have the original hub caps and they are in nice shape.
I have a clear Missouri title that is in in my name.
The price is 4800 dollars cash or trade for a hot rod, kit car or classic with a trade value of $6000
No Trucks or Motorcycles please! I have a truck and can't ride a motorcycle.
