4 Speed Converzsion Conversation

I converted my '73 newport last summer. I'll have to snap a few pics. Wasnt real hard, I studied on it for a while and had it pretty much figured out by the time I gathered up all the parts I needed.
Had it jacked up putting brakes on the front one day and decided to just go for it. Only took about 3 days to complete and I was back on the road.
Wasn't to much info or parts out there, most people laughed at me for even thinking about it.

Excellent, yes some pix and info. definitely appreciated!

Did you go ahead with the OD 833 or use a regular 833?

What kind of RPMs are you turning at 60 and 70 MPH with the 3.91s and 275 x 60's?

I agree. I am also trying to convert from auto to 4 speed. I have a 1965 dodge custom 880. So far I have acquired the A833 transmission, but missing everything else. Tough to find these setups for C bodies!
