I know I have no business asking but, couldn't resist. Also, any opinions on asking price?

Very Rare Vintage 1969 Chrysler 300 Convertible with 440 TNT Engine!!

ironically, it seems like this would be better for me, as it’s like both of my 300s in one package. Oh well, I guess just because it has original paint, doesn’t mean it’s a “virgin” body (underneath too) but it looks pretty good....

thanks.

Not one pic of the interior or underhood.:BangHead:

Not at that asking price, he won't.
thanks for the reply. I'm hearing some people saying asking prices are going up for some of the "rarer" C bodies such as a TNT car. But, perhaps, as usual, it all depends on how much a certain person will pay (thanks for the repsonse.)

I never worry about @Tobias74 paying asking price....he never does but he seems to be able to talk the knickers off a Nun when he negotiates car deals...

"440 TNT engine (very rare)"

Whooooo....

Where do people come up with this stuff?

well, i'm always learning, but why is that a false statement? It seems that the TNT is at least "relatively" rare, it sure took me a long time to find one that was the real deal. so, please explain, just trying to learn, thanks.

I'd say they're all rare these days and numbers are decreasing.

Given the number of production, a 300 ragtop is "rare." But, there were more '69 300 ragtops built than '70s, so, would the '70 rag be "very rare?" Was the TNT less common on Chryslers than the standard 440 or 383? Yes. Are they "very rare?" Hell no.

well, all i can say is it's a relative term, and sometimes a word game. But to me, an original 440 TNT (especially Fuselage) is rare, particularly one with the original paint and a second owner car. Too bad he wants so much for it.
