Are the dashpads in 1970 and 1971 300s the same?

I have a 71 300 in dire need of a dashpad (black). I've found one from a 1970, but am unsure if they are the same. Can anybody advise?

Thanks

The pad is different, and so is the instrument cluster.
So, in a word: no you can't. Sorry.

Absolutely correct, both the instrument cluster as well as the pad are different. However, that does not necessarily mean it does not interchange. I never tried that. It still might fit. On Imperials the pad retained the "lower lip" through 1973.

You can likely swap the entire dash assy as the body's are basicly the same.
69-70 pads will interchange but are different appearance.

I have a dash pad if you need one. You would have to dye it

Hello, what color is yours? I'm assuming you have one then from a 1971 Chrysler C-body? What do you want for it? Thanks.

THanks to those who replied. i'd like to keep the interior original, so will continue searching for a 1971 dashpad.
