What exactly is wrong with it.

It is split in half where I have the zip ties holding it together.

You'll have "weld" and fill it with one of those mini butane torches and shavings from an obscure area.
I have yet to find a cement, epoxy, solvent, tiger piss, whatever, that will bond that stuff.
If anybody has personally used any of the above themselves and actually keep its bond, please let me know. I'll buy a gallon of that stuff.

There is one on the B body site for $70.00 26" Coronet. it is the same, although the number is different.

Maybe some epoxy bonding with a strap bonded underneath for additional support .. 1" wide aluminum or sheetmetal maybe for strength.

I came from your video to this and this looks fantastic! I'm going to try their base produkt on my cracked instrument cluster if I can find a european supplier.
