Some of you may remember that when I joined up, I was tied up financially and time-wise with the construction of a garage addition to house all my gearhead projects. We started the project last summer as an addition to the house where my son lives. Originally, we were just going to build a free-standing structure, but the county codes would not allow us to build a garage of the size we wanted - unless - it was 'attached' to the house.
