I'm starting to think it should be mandatory for us to state our tire sizes and mfg brand when posting pics of our cars.
Especially with 14-15" tire options drying up.
 
Magnums are perfect for ‘68 slabs as I believe that was the first year they were offered as a factory option (without the trim ring)

And for some reason, the later trim-ringed Magnums look so wrong to me on a C. (no offense to anybody rolling on them) Such a subtle yet distinct difference.

Yes 68 first year chrome Magnums were offered without trim ring but only in 14 inch.
Upgrading nowadays with the 15 inch version is the norm. Looks right and better ride quality and tire availability.

FWIW, 14" Magnums (without trim rings) were available on 67s. Here's info from the 67 Chrysler Dealer Data Book:
