My 72 Imperial arrived today in Minnesota from Illinois. Love it. Going to have my mechanic go thru it. Brakes are a bit spongy. Fuzzy dice gone. Side pipes are going I think....some angles I like the look though...But, I love the rear duals...brand new exhaust.

Stunning, I love it! Congrats! And more pics please.

Thats a beautiful car! The color is beautiful. I also hope that you remove the sidepipes. Doesn't fit the character of the car.

Beautiful car ,,side pipes suck in my opinion. What engine?

I have to assess the full condition of body and mechanical. First look is pretty clean. And then there is some tacky add-ons that should be easy to remove. Brake overhaul is present priority this weekend. Slowly I think towards stock...I would like to replace steering wheel with stock black or white...I kinda like the tire/wheel set up for now...might get an estimate on removing sunroof and restore roof this winter at local body shop.

Sweet car for sure.. but ya know everyone's got an opinion. Lol, mine is to LOSE all the shinny crap under the hood. Stock look works best on the Ol Girl. IMO.

It will look a lot better without the pipes. He about a pic of the fender tag? (We are a needy bunch)

I'm almost afraid to ask what kinda steering wheel is on it now...:poke:
And I hope the po didn't put a hideous giant tach on the steering column.

Congrats! Great looking car and I'm glad your losing the sidepipes. Looks like the po did a lot to the engine. Can you fill us in?
As Matt said, a pic of the fender tag would be cool plus some interior pics.
