The folks here are only the best. Saturday evening my ugly little electrical gremlin surfaced again. It was like a team of triage doctors descended out of nowhere on the; cantfip, 75landyacht, 78brougham, ripinator, monaco75. You guys are the best and all of your help was greatly appreciated.

The roll back showed up on time and picked us up at about 10:00 this morning and returned us to home at about 2:30. We had a whopping 6 extras miles that AAA didn't cover, a whole $25. I am so glad I renewed the membership last week. Otherwise that would've been close to $900 between the 2 tows, yikes.

I made a point of trying to slow down and talk with more folks this year which made things more enjoyable for me. Polara Dave I missed you every time I came back by, next time hopefully.

Jeff, the cameras were an inspired idea. I couldn't have come up with a better idea myself, hopefully the pictures are decent.

I so much enjoyed getting to sit and talk with each of you.

Did the FCBO BDAR (Battle Damage Assessment & Repair) Team figure out the electrical gremlin before the rollback took her away?

Cantflip was there. Everbody else could have gone home.
Not true, 78Brougham is the one that got her running at least for Saturday evening. Now I know where to go gidding in a couple of days to find the problem.

By the way the tow truck driver was a real talker, but a nice guy. He left her down right into her stall of the garage.

Unless they came up with a different conclusion in my absence toady there is an open between the firewall and the amp gauge. So, the cluster will need to be pulled so that I can gain better access to the wiring.

First Ive heard of your woes , My apologies for not being there. You clearly didnt need me around for it anyway. Many better brains than mine were on it.

Sorry to hear of your trouble but glad you made it safely home. I was glad I got to meet you & several others Saturday morning. I wish I could have met all who were there. Always next year.

Mentioned on another post, but worth repeating, Sammie and I had a great time with you and the kids, you can be very proud of those guys.
We had a great dinner with you and the kids, Rip, Jer, and John at the Texas Roadhouse. Sorry that gremlin had to spoil the evening!
We're already looking forward to next year!
Keep us posted as to what you find under the dash, could help us all out at one time or another.

A short story, sad but true. Last night I helped a gentleman load seats into a '58 Dodge Lancer 2 door that he was trailering back to WV. The Lancer had been loaded with rare, loose chrome trim that he put on the grass near gate 1, intending to place it back into the cabin after the seats were loaded. The trim was accidentally left behind, and he didn't realize until this evening. There must have been a thousand people walking in

Did they eliminate the bulkhead connector as a cause?

That's where most Mopar electrical gremlins live.

Kevin
Yep, we did that first thing. Definitely between the inside bulkhead and the ignition. Probably at the ammeter connection. Or in that vicinity.

We had a great time as well. They do make me/us proud.

Dinner was a great time listening to Jer's stories. I get the feeling has a few more of them too.

The gremlin will be found and squashed, then reported on for others benefit. I'm just not sure how quickly I'll get to it. I've got a bunch of irons in the fire right now. The biggest is chasing a gremlin in my motorcycle.

Tell the kids we're looking forward to seeing them next year, hopefully we can do it all over again, but this time we won't invite the "Gremlins" or get momentarily lost hahaha

Their still living in the moment. I agree with the no gremlins. I don't mind being lost momentarily.

I think the bike is running okay now. It needed a fuel filter. I took it out for 20 miles and it ran fine tonight.
