She has been holding out on me! I found this in a little plastic box full of push pins. The Forward Look era logo caught my attention as I was walking buy it. She had family that worked for Chrysler’s back in the day(see what I did there?) as a lot of us did, in fact her dad retired from General Dynamics which was previously Chrysler Defense.
Anyways I thought I’d share it with you guys, I’ve never seen one before.

I’ll get a better picture. It’s about the size of a spark plug gapper and I grabbed those pics on my way out the door this morning.

Stan, the way I told it is exactly the way it happened.:icon_fU:

General Dynamics previously "Chrysler Defense"? Very interesting!

Thanks for sharing those pictures! Did you find the needed pushpins?

Yes, my Godfather also worked for Chrysler Defense and then General Dynamics on the XM1 project which was the prototype for the M1 Abrams. I used to have some memorabilia from it, belt buckle, jacket patch and some press photos from an open house they had at the tank plant which was basically just down the street in my early childhood. I haven’t seen the memorabilia in years dammit but I do still have an armor piercing projectile from the XM1 that was actually fired at that open house.

Thanks! I forgot about the other things that GD was into. Down here, we knew GD as an airplane/bomber building entity.

Neat stuff!

That is SUPER cool. Where I'm from, we all worked for Pratt and Whitney in some capacity or another. Not exactly relevant to our hobby but I sure did pull a lot of beautiful Pratt tools and memorabilia from both of my grandparents houses.

I find this kind of interesting since the company that I've worked at for nearly 11 years makes things for GD.
