B - J 2019

Interesting to be sure... as heavily chroma-accentuated as that picture is, I don't a tually mind the vinyl top on that car.
Here's the pictures I took. Other than the vinyl top it is a nice car. 31K sounds good to me. Half of what the last one sold at auction for.

I’m not keen on the top either, but I agree. Very nice. Considering what nice and even not so nice b bodies are going for, a reasonable price. One of these was on Hemmings posted by streetside classics (I think) and they were asking 89k. That’s just stupid.

Chris, did the paint colors look correct? The gold paint didn't look correct to me in the pictures.

Seen a beautiful 57 Coronet D501 vert sell for $66k.

354 Hemi 2x4's

1 of 6 verts.

M.Did anyone catch that the roof line is wrong. Metal plug used for the rear glass is missing. This is a pic from Mecum Indy 2018.A true Hurst 300.

I'm not seeing anything different about the roof line. The vinyl top moldings defiantly change the appearance with the points but I don't see a difference other than that. What am I missing?

iI DISAGREE MY FRIEND. Not with a Canvas Bag on the roof that was never offered on the 300 Hurst. Az for the paint? The General sold ah bunch of Olds 442s a year or two before the Hurst in '70. Not sure what the General called the color on the 442s but Mother called it Sauturne Mist over Spinnaker White on the '70 Hurst and this Sauturne Mist iz not even close on this car. Hell, even the Sauturne Mist iz wrong(I'd guess to match the body?)Put the two together on this '70 an you've got ah nothing more then ah clone there. If the Vin Tag says its a 23 or 27 in the vin tag (and I see neither on this Vin), then it needz ah serious repaint and ah white top without the canvas bag on it. Some one iz gonna loose on this one big time or stay married to it for another 40 yearz. Doesn't matter which, and it's ah damn shame 'cuz it appears to be a nice clean car. I didn't spend the $ so, What's another 7K-10K for a correct squirt and another K for the bag removal and another 1/2 pint + reducer and another clear coat squirt 'n buff, lol. Jer

Chris, look at the dutchman's panel on the two. The vinyl roof one has a much larger panel between glass and trunk.

I'm still not seeing it Peter. The vinyl top is throwing it off. If you go from the bottom of the rear window molding to the front of the trunk lid it looks the same to me. There were only 2 roof line / rear windows available. This car has the convex window not the concave one. Unless someone did a lot of cutting and welding to change the window opening.

My bad. I shouldn't look at things on a tiny screen. The big monitor cleared it up.

With my limited knowledge of fender tags I think it's a legit Hurst car. It has the y39 and the 125 build date. The only caveat is the tag looks awful crisp. A repro maybe? Just thinking out loud.
