My HOA prohibits any structure to be placed on the property. And it's an air tight agreement.
So, I bought the parcel behind mine and put up a "little cabin in the woods".
The neighborhood is going **** house.

Brilliant. Grab some beer and step over the line when they say get out.

That's awesome!! Smart man, you are!! I do have a question, since you bought the property is it still a separate parcel from the parcel that your primary residence is located on? I'm just curious how your zoning is. I'm happy you are able to best the HOA system!!!

Beautifully done. Another reminder to avoid owner associations of any type. Recently sold my late father in laws 3 plex ground level condo to a very nice lady. They weren’t going to let her in because she had a small dog. We had to write letters and only after 2 interviews between the board and her and her dog did they finally relent. She was perfect for the place but these power trippers with their bylaws can be a little over the top.

That is a little cabin. Is that for Cantflip when he comes to visit?
Sure, why not?

Better be wheelchair accessible :poke:
That's next. Just for her, here's a view from the hot tub.

That's for Pedro and his 14 cousins!
If the HOA does not stop the harassment, it will be.

If I annex that parcel to my property in the HOA, it becomes one property and therefor subject to the HOA covenants.

I'm keeping it a separate parcel and out of the HOA. :icon_fU::icon_fU:

Well done! When are you paving the guest driveway?
Done.

To be fair down here in FL, if it isn't HOA or deed restricted, it turns into a hell hole.

But I do hates em to death. If I could dissolve ours I would.

this is when you become the president of said board and rewrite the laws into your favor
